Yup. If there is some "Action" in the dragon case....9 times out of 10 it is Valerie Rose!! So far, Val has been stepped on, she was found "hanging" in the enclosure, and now.... this is her second egg laying session. NONE of these eggs are fertilized. The first time Val laid eggs the count was 18. Today she laid a bakers dozen! (13).

Jolene was gifted to us about 2 years ago by her owner /breeder "Lynn". My wife and I will ALWAYS be grateful to Lynn for her generosity. Lynn noticed a little while after Jolene "hatched" that she had signs of Neurological damage. The dragon always seemed to "lean", "flip over" and walk sideways. So Lynn took Jolene to (I believe) 2 different veterinary hospitals for opinions. Both vets concurred to put Jolene down, and do an autopsy to discover what Neurological damage was causing her to lean, flip and walk sideways. Lynn just couldn't do that. Lynn believed in the "Quality" of life, and Jolene was a happy dragon who ate, and went to the bathroom just fine. I was honored when Lynn gave us this precious gift....Our Jolene.

Our Male Bearded Dragon was on my lap, and he decided to "leap" off of my chair and into the Christmas Tree. The next day, Valerie Rose was on my lap, and she was enthralled with the tree's new spinning action as well. Now, ALL OF OUR DRAGONS NEED TO RIDE OUR CHRISTMAS TREE EVERY YEAR!!

If your dragon hasn't pooped, or is having trouble pooping, try warm water. Make sure the water is not HOT. I usually test the water by feeling it on my arm. The water should be comfortable NOT HOT. My wife was in the hospital, and she was worried that Val wouldn't poop. (Val hadn't pooped in 2 days) So before visiting my wife, I gave it a go....so to speak!
